This package is the most effective way to address reactivity. We start in the low-stress environment of your home to build a foundation of trust, then transition to a controlled group setting to practice those skills around other dogs.

- 2 Private In-Home Lessons: We focus on management, "emergency" leash handling, and identifying your dog's specific triggers.
- 1 "Reactive Dog" Group Class Series (4 weeks): Practice focus exercises and behavior modification in a safe, barrier-protected group of only 2-3 dogs.

Living with a reactive dog can feel incredibly isolating. We understand the exhaustion of scanning every corner for "triggers," the anxiety of a simple walk turning into a minefield of barking and lunging, and the heartbreak of wanting to help a dog who is clearly overwhelmed.

Reactivity—whether it’s barking at other dogs, lunging at cars, or snapping at strangers—is often a sign of deep-seated fear, anxiety, or overstimulation. Our Reactive Dog program isn't about "fixing" a "bad" dog; it’s about understanding your dog’s underlying needs and giving you both the tools to navigate the world safely and confidently.

How We Help

We focus on science-based, positive reinforcement methods to change how your dog feels about their triggers, not just how they act.

Understanding Thresholds: Learn to read your dog’s subtle body language so you can intervene before a "meltdown" happens.
Management Strategies: Master the "Emergency U-Turn" and other tactical skills to keep walks safe while you work on long-term training.
De-sensitization: We slowly and safely expose your dog to triggers at a distance where they can remain calm and focused.
Building Focus: Teach your dog to "check in" with you when they see something scary, choosing focus over a reaction.

The Small Group Advantage

Because we know how stressful traditional classes can be, our Reactive Dog sessions are strictly limited to 3 dogs. We use visual barriers and carefully managed spacing to ensure every dog stays below their threshold, allowing them—and you—to actually learn.

Requirements: All dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations.
Note: An Initial Assessment ($170) is required prior to enrollment to ensure this class is the safest fit for your dog.
