So many lost dogs recently!

So many dogs are getting lost! Remember that dogs that are unsure of their environment may choose to bolt.
When bringing a new dog home, or pet sitting a friend’s dog, ensure:
1) Dog has a collar with up to date identification
2) Use a long line (super long leash) when they are out in the yard.
When I pet sit client’s dogs, I check the fence and gate every time they go out. Then I use a long line - first held, then dragged.
Long lines are cheap and can ensure the safety of our pups!
