2. Supervise, Supervise, Supervise! Prevention is key! When you can't actively supervise your dog, they should be in a confined area like a crate or a puppy-proofed room. This limits their opportunities to have accidents unnoticed. When you are watching them, you'll be able to spot the tell-tale signs they need to go (circling, sniffing the ground, restlessness) and whisk them outside.
