Reward Success Immediately and Enthusiastically: The moment your dog finishes eliminating outside, praise them enthusiastically ("Good potty!", "Yes!") and offer a high-value treat, play or a walk. This creates a strong positive association with going potty outdoors. Reward immediately so they connect the act with the praise and treat.
